A Blessed Easter to you and your loved ones.

During this season of hope and renewal, know that we are praying for you. This Lent and Easter will certainly be one that will not be quickly forgotten. Hopefully you have been able to stay connected to us. Many of our parishes and campus ministries have been  live-streaming Masses and other events and our friars who are teachers and professors have been teaching online.

For your information, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act has created a Universal Charitable Deduction of $300 for taxpayers, even for those who do not itemize. A taxpayer who takes the standard deduction and makes a $300 cash gift (not stock) to a charity may claim the $300 deduction in his or her adjusted gross income. The gift may be made any time in 2020.
