The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph

Like the Christ child, each one of us is born into a family with parents. But families come in different shapes, sizes, nationalities, and cultures bearing their own traditions. Jesus was born of his mom with a step-dad, grandparents, cousins, and extended family members. This is true of our families.

But how do we become a Holy Family? We are all created in God’s image and likeness. Do we live out our Faith? Do we attend Mass as a family or a religious community? Do we receive the sacraments? Do we ask for the graces we need in our daily journey of life? Do we care for our family like Mary and Joseph? Loving God, help us to promote Holiness in our Family by imitating the example of the Holy Family!
