Tuesday of the First Week of Advent, 2018

"On that day, 
The root of Jesse,
set up as a signal for the nations,
The Gentiles shall seek out, 
for his dwelling shall be glorious."

Our Lord’s words fill our hearts with Joy!  As we encounter Him each day in prayer, we begin to see Him in everything and everywhere. Having lost my husband in 2009 and my son in 2018, I feel blessed because the Lord has always been there beside me holding my hand as He would that of a child. He walks the journey with me as He promises to do with each of us as we wait to return to His glorious dwelling place.

"I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike." May we begin to see what the disciples saw and hear what they heard as we begin to "Listen" with our hearts to His words.
