God has not given a single command that is a preference or whim. Nor are they given to test us. None are arbitrary. They are not hoops we must jump through to get to heaven. They are empowering revelations that simply and profoundly give us a vision of what is real and true so that we may live healthy, empowered, and loving lives.
If one were in total weightlessness, it would not be possible to move even a few feet in any direction. But gravity sets us free by empowering us to move where we choose. Human flight is only possible if we design our craft based on the “Laws of Physics.” God’s “Commandments” likewise free and empower us to do incredible things! The most incredible of which is to Love!
