Solemn Profession of Br. James Martin Nobles, OP

On May 24, 2019, Br. James Martin Nobles, OP made his profession of solemn vows to the Order of Preachers in the Province of St. Martin de Porres. Profession of solemn vows unties a man to the Order until death.

The procession of solemn vows took place during a Mass. Br James Martin Nobles, OP knelt and placed his hands in the hands of Fr. Tom Condon, OP, Prior Provincial, on the Constitutions of the Order of Friars Preachers and made solemn profession using the formula below.

I, brother James Martin Nobles, make profession and promise obedience to God, to blessed Mary, and to blessed Dominic, and to you brother Thomas Condon, prior provincial of the province of St. Martin de Porres in place of Bruno Cadore, Master of the Order of Friars Preachers and his successors, according to the rule of blessed Augustine and the institutions of the Friars Preachers, that I will be obedient to you and your successors until death.
