March 25, 2020Today we celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation remembering when Mary gave herself totally to God's plan through her YES. "Be it done unto me according to your Word" meant that Mary was totally receptive to God's invitation. Through her YES, she was willing to have the Seed of love planted in her womb. Mary guarded an empty space within her being to be filled by God through her YES. She received the Word into her heart.
She believed in the Word.
She conceived the Word through her YES.
We, too, are invited to receive the Word into our hearts through our Yes, to believe in the Word and to conceive the Word as it becomes who I am.
