Love has conquered death!
God has fulfilled His promises out of love for His children!
Christ our Savior has risen!
Let us rejoice and be glad in the Praise of God this Holy Easter. Through the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have been made new in the waters of Baptism and become co-heirs to life-eternal. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not forget us during these difficult days of His Passion and terrible suffering, on the contrary, He freely gave himself up so that we might have life! Today, as pilgrims in search of hope, we cling to you, Risen Jesus. We turn our backs on death and open our hearts to you, for you are Life itself. It is only right, with all the strength of our heart and mind, to praise You Father and Your Only Begotten Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
At Easter, we celebrate and Rejoice at the empty tomb, proclaiming that Jesus has indeed resurrected from the dead. Easter is the day that our Lord and Savior Jesus rose from the dead after being crucified. The empty tomb means that Jesus’s words rang true. He fulfilled the promises of Scripture and conquered sin and death. In the words of Pope Francis, “We need the crucified and risen Lord so that we can believe in the victory of love and hope for reconciliation. Today, more than ever, we need him to stand in our midst and repeat to us: ‘Peace be with you!’ Only he can do it. Today, he alone has the right to speak to us of peace.” May the Joy of Easter remain in your hearts now and always. May the joy of this holy season give us hope for a better and more peaceful world.
