We are resolutely Catholic and pro-life, but that commitment doesn’t make women’s health any easier to talk about. Our hope with these four talks is to begin a conversation around the more challenging parts of living out our commitment to life. One in eight known pregnancies end in miscarriage, one in eight married couples experience infertility, and one in five households are raising children that have special health needs.
The truth is we know these people, we love them, and we’re most likely related to them. We might very well be these people ourselves! Yet so much of the challenge of conceiving, bearing, and even raising children is considered taboo. In starting a conversation about some of the challenges involved in women’s health and being unabashedly Catholic, our goal is to learn how to listen, support, and aid our sisters so that we might begin to create that culture of life that we are called to build.
We hope that you will join us for one, a few, or all of these talks!
