Today is the feast of the great St. Augustine, Bishop and Doctor of the Church. He was born in modern-day Algeria in 354.

Today, on the feast of St. Rose of Lima, we pray that the Order of Truth may remain faithful to its mission for the salvation of souls by preaching the truth, Jesus Christ.

With a sad, yet hopeful heart, we announce that Fr. Bruce Schultz, OP, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024.

Bl. Mannes is not well known by anyone outside the Dominican Order, but he is a man who influenced St. Dominic tremendously. Novice Br. Matthias shares a reflection about Bl. Mannes de Guzman.

The disciples were worried about who would be the greatest in the Kingdom. Anyone worried about being great in the Kingdom has a ways to go in humility. So, how do they get started?

The Provincial encouraged and affirmed our novices' efforts in allowing the Dominican way of life to mold them into becoming the teachers, preachers, and caretakers of souls God calls them to become. He spoke of their endurance and courage in taking the risk to profess Obedience, saying, “Profession is not for the faint of heart!”
