At the Provincial Chapter, the work of the capitulars concluded today, ahead of schedule. The work of the diffinitorium will begin on Monday.

The Provincial Chapter continues its work as we near the last few days before the diffinitorium begins.

On this Solemnity of the Descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the Master of the Order, Fr. Gerard Timoner, III, OP, has confirmed the election of the 2022 Provincial Chapter of our brother, Fr. Roberto Merced, OP, for the office of Prior Provincial.

The election for the office of Prior Provincial took place today. We were informed that we would receive an answer tomorrow, on Pentecost Sunday.

Please know that the brothers at the Provincial Chapter are keeping the Province in our prayers. We are praying for all the friars, the province’s ministries, our friends & benefactors, and any other needs that we may have at this time.
